Walt Austin has been playing piano for over thirty years. Born outside of Athens, GA, he attended and graduated from the prestigious University of Miami music program with a degree in jazz studies. Now living in metro Atlanta, he performs on a regular basis for corporate events, weddings, and other private functions. He maintains a steady gig at the Capital City Club in Atlanta, where he performs with his trio on a monthly basis; other recent playing highlights include performing for the Coca-Cola fundraiser gala, the Georgia Aquarium music series, and at the Fernbank Center.
