With a song list comprised of the best music from ‘80s and ‘90s, Party of Four always parties like it’s 1999! 

Back then, MTV didn’t really know what to call the signature Party of Four sound; Jangle Pop, Melodic Rock, College Rock, Alt-rock, and Power Pop were just a few of the terms used. No matter what they called it, however, music critics and fans could always recognize the sunny vocal harmonies and jangly guitars reminiscent of 60s bands such as the Beatles and the Byrds.

Known as America’s #1 Tribute to Jangle Pop, the members of Party of Four have shared the stage with platinum-sellers The Strokes, Pharrell, Sister Hazel, Blues Traveler, Hootie & The Blowfish, Spin Doctors, Evan Dando (of The Lemonheads), Howie Day, Fishbone, 311, The Smithereens, Strike Anywhere, and have also recorded with era-defining REM producer, Mitch Easter.

Anchored by the drumming of Jim Blossom, and the bass playing of Beau Jangle, the chiming guitars of AC Purdy and Rick Becker complete the band’s instrumental foundation. But it’s the soaring vocal harmonies from the four distinct lead vocalists which truly makes the band a “party of four.”
