Brian Sadiarin a.k.a. DJ Geometrix, from the Washington, D.C. area, is one of those envied artists that makes a living doing what he loves to do. He gave up his corporate day job, as a computer programmer, to pursue his passion for music and performing. He's been a student of the DJ game since 1993 and has been rocking the D.C. nightlife scene for the last 10 years. DJ Geometrix is truly a master behind the decks, and his amazing skills, celebrated experience and extensive knowledge of music has helped him become the #1 “go-to” guy in the D.C. metropolitan area.
DJ Geometrix is now a staple in the D.C. nightlife scene, regularly performing and holding residencies at every major nightclub, including Love/Dream, Fur, Ibiza, Park, 1223, and Ultra Bar to name a few. He can also be found keeping the dance floors full at various celebrity weddings, private and corporate events, with an uncanny ability to read the audience and pick just the right songs at the right time.
From 1998 to 2003, DJ Geometrix won numerous DJ competitions, even making the national finals in major organizations such as DMC, ITF, Guitar Center, and Kool Mixx. He traveled the U.S. performing in DJ showcases while earning the respect of his peers as a world renowned turntablist. “In the D.C. nightclub circuit, I probably have a great advantage over most of the other DJs. Battling has given me that edge over my competition and the overwhelming confidence to perform night in and night out,” he said.
Worldwide, DJ Geometrix has been a featured performer at high profile events such as the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Fla., Starscape in Baltimore, Md., Tuner Bash After Dark in Seattle, Wa, and the Mountain Dew AST Tour in Baltimore. He has performed in nightclubs around the U.S., most recently DJ’ing at Red Bull New Years Eve party in Las Vegas, Nev. He has even DJ’d out at sea, acting as the celebrity guest DJ on Royal Caribbean International’s Freedom class cruise ships.
He was named Breakthrough DJ of the Year by The Scene Magazine and has also been featured in XLR8R, Best Events, DJ Times, URB, Tablist, The Washington Post, Empire, City Paper, Go Magazine, and more.
