HOW THE LIVE EVENT PAINTING UNFOLDS

Every event is unique:  the timing, the flow of guests, the setting, the lighting, but more importantly, the special moments and priceless emotions captured. She will work side-by-side with you to determine what you want captured in your painting and how to go about capturing it.  

Flexibility is the name of the game.  Ideally, she will conduct a site visit days before the event and work up a sketch.  She will arrive hours before the event, in order to prep the background of the painting and will paint on site during at least 3 hours (when possible) of your event to capture the mood, the guests, and the emotion.  

She can also use supplemental photographs to paint in an exact moment or a detailed portrait following the event and often brings her own photographer to aid in capturing these details.

She returns the (wet) oil painting to her studio for final touches and to let it dry.  In most cases, the final painting can be delivered 3 weeks after your event, sometimes sooner.  

She works closely with a local printer and can turn your painting into personalized Thank You cards, corporate stationary, or fine art prints.
