Blaze the City was great! They created an amazing order to their set list that gave older guests some familiar hits earlier in the night and gradually got more contemporary as the night went on to meet with the younger guests’ music preferences. They also pivoted when a thunderstorm came mid reception and kept the crowd dancing on the dance floor even amid the rain. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about how amazing they were and we absolutely agree. Brandon was instrumental in meeting with us prior to the event to make sure we were on the same page about important songs for special dances as well as the overall vibe we wanted for our reception music. We loved having Blaze the City and would definitely book again.

We threw a college graduation party with 230 people, and they were able to entertain the entire crowd! Brandon even offered pre-selected songs of choice if the crowd had interest. AMAZING! I echo everyone’s comment about how incredible this band is and their willingness to work with you on every detail to make your day exactly how you want. I am actually not a planner so Brandon graciously worked with me on all my random ideas and requests and sorting through how much I wanted to plan versus letting them have the freedom to use their expertise. We can’t say enough good things about Blaze the City! Everything you want in a wedding band. They know exactly what the crowd wants to hear and makes it their job to keep people on the dance floor! Our guests had so much fun on the dancefloor with Blaze the City.

They are incredibly talented and made sure the evening matched our music tastes and kept people having fun. The band did an awesome job of reading the room and knowing what to play when. Blaze the City was an absolute blast. I'm writing this review three weeks after the wedding and people are still commenting on how much fun they were. The band plays just about every song you've ever heard of and know how to keep the party going- I'm fairly certain our only request was to keep the dance floor full and they more than delivered. They even learned our first dance song which sounded beautiful! Thank you for making our day so awesome!

Blaze the City is a group of super talented, friendly, professional, amazing musicians! They made our wedding reception so memorable and fun. Thanks to them, every guest was on the dance floor singing and dancing all night. We even begged them for an encore and they complied and didn’t disappoint! Blaze the City was awesome at our wedding! Brandon was great, he reached out a few months before the wedding for us to communicate and discuss all of the specialty songs and our preferences. We just so happened to mention the Brides father liked Bob Seger and they went out of their way to play a special song and have him lip sing along, that was awesome! we will be talking about that for decades. They kept the party going all night and everyone was on the dance floor. I would give them 5 out of 5 stars. Very professional, friendly and most of all they are a great band!

In COVID times, planning and executing a wedding has been tough. Balancing the mix between safe and entertaining was a difficult task and as cancellations started to roll in, my fiance and I had to consider our options. With only 3 months left before our big day, we moved our venue 3 hours east and reached out to Blaze the City, as their sound and style were what we were looking for. They coordinated the entire move and stuck with us, adjusting to each accommodation we had to make as we shifted plans. And every piece of effort was worth it. They were loved at the event, played jams all through the night and stood out as highlights on an adjusted perfect day. I would recommend Blaze the City for any event that's looking for a 90s/2000s/country sound and would reach out to them if I ever held another event. Fact is, if I am ever back in their town and they are playing, I will drop by to listen and enjoy their vibe again.
