The focus of Jack's fifteen-year career at ECE is booking live entertainment for private and corporate events, with specialized expertise managing day-of-show logistics for headliners such as Taylor Swift, Alabama Shakes, Black Crowes, and The Roots. Jack is also proud of his eleven-year run as the buyer of up-and-coming talent for Friday Cheers Concert Series. Having worked with such luminaries as Zac Brown Band, Jason Isbell, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones at the start of their career trajectories, Jack enjoys being able to say he "knew them when ..."

Jack is also called upon to provide entertainment and logistical support for high-profile political events including multiple official Presidential Inaugural balls, other statewide inaugurals, national party conventions, and campaign events for sitting Senators, and Vice Presidential, and Presidential candidates. Some of the artists involved in these special events include Jon Bon Jovi, Smokey Robinson, Mark Anthony, James Taylor as well as various bands from the ECE roster.

And then there are the weddings!

There's no telling how many families Jack has gotten to know in the past decade-and-a-half in the search for their perfect wedding band. The emphasis on "their" in the previous sentence is key to Jack's approach. His wedding band consulting process begins and ends with asking questions and listening to what his clients want. Only after a lot of listening does a client's vision for the evening translate into Jack's suggestions for available bands in each client's price range. It was only after seven years of listening did Jack bring a few friends together to form Three Sheets to the Wind, the wedding band for people who hate wedding bands-Jack's current musical and performance outlet.

In January 2016, Jack married Amanda-the love of his life and keeper of their dog's Instagram account. He's always happy to talk about his recent wedding planning experience and can either share excitement or empathy as the situation demands. Pairing his expertise as agent and band leader with his very recent experience as a groom, Jack brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to the booking process-especially for weddings in Charlottesville, Richmond, and the Outer Banks.
